Warranty Wheel Replacement, HELP!

I am the 2nd owner of my Viper and have had no problem with a large variety of interior and cosmetic issues. I would take your car to another dealership and try again.

Even if your the 10th owner, the car is still under the 3yr, 36,000 factory warrenty!!! You are definetly getting the run around.

I had my wheels replaced under warranty for a different type of finish issue. DCX rates the wheels on three areas, front, lug holes, and back. Only the fronts of the wheels are under warranty for finish problems. The wheels are made by Prime, not DCX. Find a dealer that will go to bat for you...this shold be covered. I had to meet with the Zone Rep three times.

Hoosier Daddy is right, you are under the 3y/36m Factory Warranty! The Warranty goes with the vehicle, not with the Owner!! Try calling DC's customer line - 800-992-1997 or tell him to call me and I'll explain life to him!!

Hey SOCRATES,
I've got a similar problem with my 01 GTS. Although I've had the car for 6 months only (bought brand new), there seems to be a milky discoloration in the wheels. I'll be talking to the dealer tomorrow, and I'll ask him about this issue and the warranty both with original owners and 2nd or 3rd owners of a Viper.

Chuck, since you're a Dodge dealer, do you think the wheels would be covered under warranty for such an issue? Thanks.
