Congrats to Daimler Chrysler's John Fernandez as he was on the Podium at the SCCA Runoffs at Mid-Ohio. John grabbed the second place spot in his Neon and it's great to have a racer working with Team Viper - way to go John !!!

Morgan Reese finished 5th in T-1 with Bobby Archer in 6th. The event was run in the rain ( not conducive for Snakes ) so we will have to wait for the circumstances to see what dropped the pole leader , Archer, back in the pack. Alot of strong drivers failed to finish, so it sounds like there was some interesting carnage at the beginning of the race - Fred Baker and Phil Lasco failed to finish !

Hey John, great to see you get a podiun finish at the SCCA Runoff's at Mid-Ohio. For those who have not been on this most technical track, it is great to see the your close sceond place win there. The times you ran where as close if not faster than many Vipers that ran at Mid-Ohio Viper Days in April. That's smokin' in a Neon. Congrats to you and your team.

John, congrats on the 2nd place finish. It was a great result, particularly given the conditions. And a fastest lap of 1:51.260 isn't shabby either, particularly in a Neon!! As Gary said, that's faster that some of the Vipers at the Mid-Ohio Viper Days event.

Congrats again!!!
