venomblue550,

You say these are "Plug-N-Play". Do you mean both headlight and foglight kits. No modification necessary? If so, I am intereseted.

Stugots,

You're talking about one in the same. Xenon is the gas that is commonly used on HID bulbs. 8000K will give you a blue tint like what you see in the current BMW's. 4300K will give you a white with slight blue tint. Probably not a whole lot of difference between 8000 and 6500 IMHO. I think you'll be happy with 8000K color temperature.

That's a great price BTW. I'd jump on that if I already didn't have HID's.

Yeah, your shipping is first rate, venomblue. Why have a long wait from overseas when you can have a long wait from right here in the good ol' USA?

Anyway, since you're trying to upstage ab's group buy (even though you say you aren't, you are) at least make it an apples to apples comparison.

Is it the exact same kit? Will we get the exact same results?

Or will it be another issue like I had with your emblems where the received (but long delayed) product just isn't quite right?

everyone got ***...

and they both are plug and play kits, and i can have 6000k or 8000k or 10000k or even 12000k, but 10000k and 12000k are kinda purple, so i think 8000k is perfect color for HID

and to UNRATLD---again, we are still sorry about you are not happy with ur service and products, which like i said we had no problem of refund your payment, we did got the 1st set of emblem back, your address on it got washed off from the rain water or something, that's why they couldn't deliever the package, we are sorry again, and about the HID, yes they will be the same kit, and same result, thanks

YES, G1 cars use the same kits, plug and play, easy easy, and the # mean the color and brightness, the color stay the whitest around 7000k and 8000k, but anything over that, will have tiny blue tint to it, and anything over 10000k, the color will be purple, thanks

The numbers represent where the light falls in the color spectrum. It's measured in "degrees Kelvin." Brightness is measured in lumens. (Not an expert in this field, just researched before I kicked down the money for HID's.)

This might help.

Here's an example of my OEM's compared to my 4100K Philips HID's. 8000K should look cool. HID's are well worth it.

According to ab:

"Learning from this experience, I would not suggest going over the 6000K heat range, it can be a bit tough to see at night with the purple tinted lights."

Got a pic of what 8000K looks like?

And to repeat AJT's question, what brand are the bulbs/ballast?

There's nothing wrong with the 6000k and above, I just think if you do a lot of night time driving, it's going to be hard to see or for your eyes to adjust to the "purple" color. I got the 12000K's and also the 6000K, the 6000K is livable, but I hated the 12000K's. I put the 12000K in the fog lights and put the 6000K in the headlamp low beam side.

I think the fog light HID's burn out faster due to the smaller size bulb and may give off a lot of heat. I would just be careful on the fog lights and have them burn out prematurley on you. just my opinion..not fact.

I have the 9005 in the head lamp and fog lamps.

I have both the 6000k and the 8000k, little difference. 6000k is basically daylight (sunny day) and 8000k is a high blue sky (no clouds).

Being that AB did a group buy on these and was going to begin another group buy for those that wanted to add HID to their fog lamps or who did not get in on the 1st group buy and being that you already have the hook up on these, how about you do a group buy where you would get approximately over $10,000 in orders as AB did or more and we can get extended savings from the prices you list already? What can you do for us? Im sure this would be as successful or more than the 1st group buy from AB? Chime in folks.....

not to disrupt this thread but i see on ebay a guy selling these 8000K kits from japan for 280 so i am not sure what the deal is? unless shipping on these is bringing it over 300 but dont think so. the guy has massive positive feedback so i wouldnt be worried about a scammer there! FYI

Wow. 'Me likey' how the price keeps dropping.

Are these identical to what the Viper vendors were selling for $450 - $500? I think Roe used to sell them, but I can't seem to find them on his website anymore.

the kit....bulb is made by Phillips, and the ballast is made by HIDYnamic, and trust me, those ebay HID kits are no good, they burn out on you really fast, we have 3 kits here came out from customer's cars, becuase they use cheap wire and bulb and ballast, some of them don't even fit right....you get what you pay for, and i will post some picture of 8000k on one of our customer's car later today...and we can do a groupbuy on this for all you guys, $300 per kit, headlight or foglight will all be the same...

You have to be kidding. Color temperature is measured in Kelvin which refers to what color iron will glow when heated to the respective temp in K. Brightness has nothing to do with it and as a vendor, I would hope that I could trust you understood what you are trying to sell and not pass on false information.
