What are the 2 switches to the left of the cigarette lighter on Gen I console?

Ah the days when it was called a cigarette lighter instead of 12V accessory port...

Getting familiar with the car functions bit by bit. The interior is pretty blissfully spartan which makes things straightforward, but there is two switches to the left of the cigarette lighter that don't seem a familiar icon, and nothing seems to happen (that I notice) when they get toggled. Didn't really see much on it in user manual, parts manual or shop manual, though probably because was looking in wrong place.

Short list of guesses include:
-Some sort of ventilation for each passenger side.
-The icon looks like defrosters for the side mirrors (ha! no side windows, but defrosters for mirrors, unlikely there...)
-Turbo boost, Knight Rider style
-Dolby noise reduction for side pipes

What are these?

Holy ****!
I understand that older cars had tape decks and some people may not want to change the car from original, but I had NO IDEA that people still actually had tapes to use in them!:rolaugh::rolaugh:

Hah !
Party like its 1992!

I am slowly accumulating a collection of Viper-appropriate cassettes that were released or were on the charts in 1992, to keep in the glovebox. The glovebox is the thing that children will wonder was used for before it was an airbag.

So far the cassette shortlist includes:
Pearl Jam - Ten
Nirvana - Nevermind
U2 - Achtung Baby
AC/DC - Live
Rage Against The Machine - Rage Against The Machine
Def Leppard - Adrenalize
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Blood Sugar Sex Magik
Ozzy Ozzbourne - No More Tears
Guns N' Roses - Use Your Illusion I & II
Eric Clapton - Unplugged (Acquired!)
Metallica - Metallica (The Black Album)
The Cure - Wish

Perhaps:
Iron Maiden - Fear Of The Dark
REM - Automatic For The People
Dr. Dre - The Chronic

And since it is a Canadian Viper, some glovebox space for:
The Tragically Hip - Fully Completely
********* Ladies - Gordon
Tom Cochrane - Mad Mad World

1 is for foglights
2nd switch is not hooked up (was used for rear fog lights on export cars). Some people wire home exterior lights, garage door opener, etc. to it.

I thought the 2nd switch was wired to the footwell heater ... just stuck in the on position

The cassette collection is coming right along. If I knew what ever happened to mine I would have sent them up.
For 1992 you would need the Singles Soundtrack to add a little mix and variety.
