What are your winter Mod Plans?

I plan on polishing my wheels, painting my dash, and maybe talking Jerry into helping me install a new clutch so I don't have any suprises next year. :2tu:

I think most of my winter mod plans are getting done as we speak.

I wouldn't mind having my factory wheels chromed, but I think that's about all that's left after Performance by Joe gets done with my car. :)

Well, maybe a stereo system. But then that's definitely it.

Unless I decide to do some headwork, but then that's REALLY it.

Unless Joe talks me into putting the bottle on the car. But then that's REALLY REALLY it.

Unless.........

Damn Tom every time I see that I get a sick feeling in my stomach.

Mods planned:

Install new roll bar
Repaint side sills, side skirts and front splitter
Install new hood pad
reposition all the extra fuel system goodies
Redo A pillar gauge pod and find a place for the O2 gauge
Think of ways to gain more horsepower to keep Tom at bay :)
Find a way to increase traction.

Calipers/rotors/pad/SS lines. Complete change of fluids.
New rear speakers. Adjust the drivers door. Maybe a dash pad, glare is bad at times. Research new wheels.

Heavy duty half shafts and 3.33 gears (if they EVER come available) I'm now told (Jon B and Unitrax) that we're looking at February. Every time I ask, the date gets pushed two months back. I guess I'll stop asking.

Interesting post as I was going to ask opinions on this subject. I'm thinking of powder coating the calipers, manifold and valve covers in blue since nothing on my car is red. Yes, Dodge is synonymous with red but I think the snake will look so much better with blue accents in the engine instead of a color that doesn't even contrast well with my car. And blue is also well known with the GTS. So, do you think this is a big no no? A severe depreciation?

Engine is coming out as soon as they salt the roads.

Custom rods, Custom pistons, Head job, Custom Valvetrain, Mild cam, Dry-Sump, lightweight flywheel...... and thats just the engine. LOL.

New clutch, Quaife rear end, Half Shafts, Fuel System....

Prolly run that setup for half of next summer, dig myself out of debt while the fresh engine breaks in...

and then SC it with a Half Paxton/Half My own design blower setup- and go back into debt.

Remove the secondary cats and have a custom setup made for the exhaust. I'm thinkin butterfly valves so it can run straight out the bottom, or though some bullit mufflers. I want to be able to adjust the sound from the drivers seat.

I love the blue valve covers and intake, the calipers would look cool too. I would pay a premium for cool powder coated stuff. Get extras and put your originals in a box if it concerns you. I think venom550blue does all of those things.

- New Stereo
- Install 3.55 Gears
