I have a stock exhaust system that is basically new that came with the car. Seems like a shame to just store. Since mods are frequent, so should be the leftover parts.

Any luck selling them? And where?

I Keep all of my stock stuff. It costs nothing to keep, eats very little and if I decide to sell a car and the new owner wants bone stock I can take the modded stuff off it and reinstall the stock items.

I agree with steve911 as the OEM stock parts may be very important to a future potential buyer.

That said, it is certainly an individual decision.

I decorate my garage walls with them. That 05 CE hood would look great on a wall.

Literally just threw out my 06 stock exhaust this morning. Got sick and tired of looking at it. I figure I will never use it again and I doubt very much a buyer would want the old exhaust when the car has a Corsa on it. I do have my 06 hood though. I kept it after changing to a Gen 4 hood.

I still have the stock cat-back w/ crossover from my '06, even though the car is long gone. About 1,500 miles on it - basically new condition.

FREE - You pay shipping.:D

I have a feeling it's headed to the local recycler soon.:dunno:

I find the illustration interesting. This is an O3 illustration. Helps sort which parts are which.

Got to go with Steve and Steve. Save the stock stuff, as you never know what the next guy might want??

Most of us mod our Snakes , but years later the buyers often want it in stock shape. Doesn't take much to keep the parts and they could come in handy ---- you open yourself to two buyers , in that if someone wants it modded , bingo, it already is, but if the buyer wants it stock, the parts are there for a switch.

As everyone can see most of us think oem parts have no economic value. However, mod parts do have value when they are off the car. Most buyers don't want to pay for the mods you made to your car. When I traded in my 03 I put the stock exhaust back on and sold the 5 year old Corsa track exhaust I took off for $900.
