what does GT stand for?

Our convertable white/blue stripes '96 has a GT on it, not RT/10. What is that about? I can't seem to find anything that mentions it on the registry.

I'm supprised it doesn't have an RT/10 on it, just GT. Why do some of them say GT and others RT/10. Not sure why.

ummm... I would have thought you meant GTS, but that would not be a convertible. Show us some pics.

nope.... Gran Turismo (no "D")

It's Italian translated as "Great Touring". Abbreviated as GT, it usually refers to a high performance model of a car.

Are you sure?

The italians really do emphasise on their "D"'s

Hi

Someone probably had the lettering RT/10 removed (for various reasons) and put the GT lettering on the car thereafter. Check the back bumper passenger side and what does it say it should read viperrt/10
