Spent all morning replacing the pads on the viper wth EBCs (had billexs.) Everything went ablsolutely smoothly - calipers pushed in as instructed, pads were loosing in the holds, pins tapped back in correctly.
Took the car out for a 10 minute spin and the pads on the drivers side completely incinerated themselves and the rotor! When I stopped the well was smoking and the rotor was glowing red!!! The other side also looked slightly cooked.
EBCs did the exact same thing on my honda. I contacted the company and was simply told I installed them wrong (though I managed the other three fine) and was not entitled to a replacement set. Now I have a fried set of pads and rotors and no money to replace them!
HOW DID THIS HAPPEN!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
