Out of the two choices I would stick with what you have.
Now if you could do me a favor and PhotoShop on some HRE 545's, 546's and 547's it would help me make my decision. I'm going to order my wheels this month
Tony, as one of your fellow "winged warriors", here's my opinion. Of just the two choices you started with, I would stay with the stock. However, I sincerely believe that a winged Viper CRIES OUT for neat looking custom wheels. I would vote for either a "lace" style, like the BBS or a Purner street wheel, or something "spoked" like an HRE or a Hart like I have on mine. But.... one more thing....... don't listen to ANY of us after all...... run what turns YOU on the most!!!!!!!!
Tony
My taste runs to the Purners, two reasons, first quality
second looks, after looking at these wheels I changed
my choice, the material engineering and machine work are first class also John truly understands wheels
Truthfully I like the stockers best ! {Talked myself out of another sale?)
IF YOU INSIST..........I am aggressively pricing HREs this month. I hit the "top" level this week thanks to several guys here! ..... I want to close the year BIG w/ HRE and achieve a full-year 2002 discount. I am saving you THOUSANDS off of HRE web prices. ~~~~~~~~:<~ T H A N K S
As of today, I have one set of 18" OEs for $2300. NEW
I like the look of some of these other wheels, but how long does it take to clean them. I think my '98 wheels are nice looking and very easy to clean. The best thing is the center cap so you do not have to clean into the lugnut openings.
