Someone actually does make a Carrera GT kit car based on the Toyota MR2.

Personally, I love the style and performance of the Porsche CGT, but it would be tough for me to justify spending nearly $500,000 for any car.

I think that the CGT looks better in both black and dark metallic gray than in red, but it's certainly nice looking nevertheless.

Of course the GTS looks amazing as well.

I think it's a compliment that a guy in a $500K porsche saw your viper and stopped by. I assume he stopped by to get a look at the viper and admire it, nothing wrong with that.

The porsche looks good in red and looks good from the front and the side. I'm not sure what the nuclear reactor looking things are in silver on the back though. They look silly.

It seemed to look much better in the magazine. Its definitely a cool ride, but there seem to be an unnecessary number of colors used on it, red, yellow, blue, black, pink/stripe, clear/gray......whazzup wit dat?

If someone came up with a high quality kit to give a Boxster the look of a CGT I'd do it. You'd have to stretch the wheelbase (cut and extend the rear) but with older used Boxsters running around 15k it would be an interesting project if done properly. After the mods, slap a modified 996 motor in it......man, that thing would haul. For less than 70k you could have a CGT clone (with less performance).

I'd pay some fat coin for one.
