I feel chrysler is screwimg me. I have referred over 5 people to Wellingtom Motors to buy cars vipers. I have always tried to help every viper owner. I was in Toronto and met 3 people with srt 10's they got their car without coupons plus the didn't buy it from a coupon holder. Apparently they told me that the cars are not being distributed based on when the coupons came in. Chrysler obviously doesn't appreciate all I have done for the viper in Canada and the US. I have supported the VCA on this web page, helped people get parts that are hard to get. I got my coupon in the first day within the first hour phone lines where open. *** are they doing giving other people my car.

My respect is falling for Chrysler. I have attended every VOI since my 1st viper. They have stated and stated how important we are as customers and now the feel I am a hinderance to them because of the coupon.

Dodge if falling off my list of trucks to buy. IF this is "how important as a customer"

I will always love the viper but I don't appreciate some of the stuff I have found out by talking to other dealers in Ontario.

Please Chrysler step up to the plate and explain your loyal viper comnunity why my car will not be in till July.

By talking to your head office I KNOW the true reason.

Mike, I appreciate all you do for the Viper Community! I'm sorry for your frustrations. My SRT is finally on it's way to me and I know it feels like it's been an eternity since I sent in the Cert.

That's not why my car is not here. Another dealer it Toronto has told me why I have not got my car and says he might be able to get it quicker

Mike I feel for you. Unfortunately I actually wish mine had been delayed. Getting it in February in Michigan did not do wonders.

I have absolutely no idea how they determined the build order. I was in no hurry regarding placing the actual order. My cert was faxed in on 1/18/02. I also was not in a hurry when calling in to receive the cert. I do not remember the actual timing but I definitely did not call in at the buzzer. So it does not appear that it was based on response timing. Hope you get it soon.

Hi Mike,

On the Bright side you are not one of the "Lucky 130" with cars that need new valves. Installation to be done by a local shop!

Mike, I am in Canada and received my SRT in early March - it is one of the cars with the valve problem. If I were in your shoes (wish I was) at least I might get the car I paid for.

So Mike what are the issues? I mean I have yet to see ONE SRT up here yet, we still have no VINS (yes that's 2 Chrysler) and nobody can tell us why. Plant tours area no-go for now ( I notice that is is cancelled on the ONtario VCA site). What the he|| is wrong at CAAP? What are they hiding?

Do you think it is a Canada issue? Did you finally get a VIN?

These cars have been on order since DEC of 2001! What the heck takes so long?

Even worse is that Chrysler Canada knows d|ck all about these cars, why even have a flagship if it's given the same regard as a neon?

It funny how a guy in my town with no certificate can have a car already purchase form arthur Dodge has is car and is exporting it. *** he comes in today wanting to know if I can change the speedo head.

I will let everyone know that Chrysler is no honoring coupons properly in Canada. They are distributing them based on a dealers volume. So their loyal customers come second to their own goals.

I have had it. I will may see them in court.

Mike, I feel for you. As you probably know, I picked up one of the first cars delivered in Canada without having a cert. Of course it was a high volume dealer. Seems like DC Canada has their own set of rules they are playing by yet again.


BTW - they also have no clue of a ball joint recall affecting every Prowler made. As I have 3, I am anxious to get them replaced but unfortunately I think they have hired the Iraqi Information Minister to do customer service - "What recall, there is no recall"

Mike, I was told a long time ago that delivery may take until June, but I was lucky enough to get mine in March even though it is one with the valve problem. I am not sure that high volume dealers get theirs first but I do know that when you finally get yours it will be well worth the wait - just hang in there! BTW I had 2 SRT's on order and DC cancelled one order...wonder what happened to that car? Maybe it ended up at a high end dealer...

Mike,

I feel for you. My SRT was ordered by my dealer for a guy who did not have a cert. and then he bailed on the deal, hence I was called up to bail out the dealer, who wanted to sell the car vs transfer so that they could get another viper to sell. Chrysler Canada did not have my GTS's serial # in their system a year ago, so when I tried to get a cert I couldn't. I don't know what is going on at Chrysler Canada but MANAGEMENT is not a word for it!
