which short shifter do you guys recomend. B&M shifters have really short through but are really "harsh" feelling as you go through the gears, you almost feel like your forsing it in to gear.

Any sugestions, HURST? PRO 5.0?

My Hurst feels..well I wouldn't say harsh but "notchy". I like it. In fact if you force it it's harsh but if you are nice it just clicks into gear.

Tator recommends the Hurst as do many many others. Having not installed one myself I have no first hand knowledge though.

I have an SVS and like it, but I haven't tried another short shifter to compare.

I'm happy with the Hurst shifter, I shortened up my MGW shift knob to keep it nice and low.

Shifting is all good once the trans warms up, until then, and this isn't the fault of the shifter but rather the trans itself, it is tough to get it to drop back to first from second.
