I am thinking the same, going but without a car. I am trying to convince a few others in this area to go as well. Right now I am 50/50, don't know if I can leave my business running without me, don't want to return to a nightmare. I will make my decision shortly.

I heartily endorse this, I have attended VOI without the car due to 3 flat tires the day before departure and I had a blast, I always found a ride in an empty right seat. Never felt left out at all.
Always repay the driver by helping him detail the car up if it gets dirty and you will probably be invited for the next day!

cool, Mark B, we're thinking the same . We need to get together and compare notes. Where are you in Md ? local car shows Sat nights in Mt Airy and Eldersburg ( this Sat - at Home Depot). I/we drove to VOI 10.. what a blast ! really want to do again !

Tammy and I are going. We've registered, bought plane tickets, booked a hotel room and are just waiting for the final shipping details to get that taken care of.

I won't often have an open right seat, but it sounds like there will be plenty of cars to drive.

Expect the shipping rate to be right around 50 cents per mile, so depending on the pickup point, it'll probably be around $2200 round trip.

upgraded to Venom last Friday..
but the VCA files don't show it yet..
and the VOI 'register' files use the VCA files..
so VOI not see the Venom level..

any help administrators ? or just 'wait' ?

Hey Mark,
Best thing to do is to call VCA HQ at 1.800.998.1110 to make sure your record is updated. The 'vca records' are something entirely separate from what we have access to here on the website, so we can't see or modify them, we can only update your website profile manually based on info we receive from HQ in periodic updates or via the instructions in the email you'll receive in the next week or two.
