will gen2 intake fit on a gen1?

looking to get a gen2 to do port work on since i can get one cheap . will it fit on my gen one ? what is required to make it work , thanks to all

I m not sure if it will fit or not but I do have one that I wanna get rid of, 400 + shipping with all 10 injectors still in it...I got extrude honed intake so stock one's gotta go...

Just get another Gen I manifold. Not sure if they will work or not. Are you doing Heads and a cam? The Gen II injectors will work depending on the year of your car.

The year matters! Later 94 and up will swap directly I think. Earlier ones had the IAC on the back of the manifold.

Do you have a 3 rib intake or the 4 rib intake?
