Saturday 26th August is the draw date....

Just got of the phone Steve K the GTSR/GT2 owner....
IF!! the raffle does go belly up EVERYBODY that bought tickets from ME (not the web page) will get 100% of there money back from Me/Steve K and we will fight it this end as we don't want to get a bad name on the board..
Steve is now looking into what is going on with the raffle and the festival..
Steve does not have a PC or Email so i will be printing this thread and posting it down to him...
Alot of the UK members have also bought a large amount of tickets including me...
And to top it of i am in New York the day of the delayed draw..PLEASE BE GENTLE!!!!!!!!!!!

Aparantly Martin (raffle owner) bought the wrong lottery licence so sales online were suspended and in turn the raffle is being suspended so he can play catch up on ticket sales....

At #60k cost and #1 per ticket, a profitable raffle needs at least:
600 people to buy 100 tickets each, or
1200 people to buy 50 tickets each, or
3000 people to buy 20 tickets each, or
6000 people to buy 10 tickets each.
Even the well advertized VCA Viper raffles needs at least 2 rounds of advertizing to meet it's 2000 ticket quota. Looks like this raffle might be on hold for a different reason. Also I wonder what kind of raffle ticket cage holds 60,000 tickets. Was this just a bad idea?
