Newest current updated part listed for 03-13' is the 4865610AF right and 4865611AF Left

The part number for a 2013 specific is 4865610AH Right and 4865611AG Left

Currently none available for any of these. The part number for the one in developmental testing right now is an unknown as far as I know anyway.

Just for grins I ran the part on Google. Came up with this address: http://www.newdodgeparts.com/OEMParts/dodge-120/4/4865611AG.html and a price of $293. So the part is in the system but not available?

I just got my 05 viper out of winter storage. The first time I put the passenger side window down, the regulator went out. So I'll be looking for one too. I just replaced my drivers side on my Prowler this winter. A Prowler owner has come up with a fix for the Prowlers. It is a sure all fix. I don't think it will ever break again. It uses a gear mechanism.

If you dig back in this thread, you'll find that they tried to do something similar for our cars, but it won't work because of the way the BCM controls the window indexing when opening/closing the doors. That I know of, they never were able to come up with the correct sensor to allow the smart glass feature to work correctly.

not with a lifetime warranty I would assume the rebuilt includes modified parts to prevent bad things from happening. Only time will tell if the latest Mopar parts have been improved, I actually have more faith in aftermarket than Chrysler but this is just me.

Thanks for the ebay link. The only drag (since you like puns so much) is even with a lifetime warranty, you need to:
remove the part
pay shipping
hope the company stays in business

Also... After removing part... Down time in shipping to them, waiting for them to repair, and then shipping time back to you. All this without being able to drive your car (unless that's just how you roll with no window).

I was honestly happy to see the link as my passenger side window is making some aweful noises so I haven't really used it. But seeing an available solution like that and seeing that there is works of an updated part makes me not worry as much. I'll just use my window til it breaks instead of trying to be super careful of it.

PeterMJ, what a great find! This must be a new solution, I have been looking for a while and this never came up. The guy in New York said he couldnt figure out the window indexing on the Gen III's. Has anyone used the ebay fix yet from Window Motor World in Florida?

I believe the problem with the OEM replacement parts is that even if they are not in a car the plastic tubing that routes the cable is still 10 years old and brittle. Once I call WMW tomorrow and ask what they use to fix the tube I am in for this solution.

I will let everyone know how it works, for $225 it will be worth the investment. I will take good before and after pictures.

Update!

Just received some inside information you may like. The newest design regulator is very close to being available and should be under $300! It has been going through a couple design changes to make it bullet proof before being released. It would have been out already, but if it was rushed the final items would not have been caught till it was too late. Testing showed that at around 7000 cycles there was still a weakness that needed to be worked on, now the new design will meet the 10,000 cycles and be much less fragile when it hits the shelves in about a month.

you will get the new part aa soon as the supplier puts the new ones in the service depot, which they have not yet. They have removed all the old ones now also, that will insure that you get the latest AH version. I hope that is soon, but right now it is totally in the suppliers court.

My dealer sent me an email and said he was supposed to receive one for my Viper tomorrow (Saturday). I checked a supplier on-line who says he can get them in 3 - 5 ddays now.

yeah. when I called 3 weeks ago with my VIN#, my dealer (Arrigo) said they could have them for me next morning (so apparently the stock of units has not been pulled).. BUT.. what you will receive is the old part number(s). The new one does not have a part number assigned t it yet (or thats my understanding). Right now my passenger side is totally out, with 3k miles.

The new part# is the same except it will end in AH. Stock shows none yet this morning although the one that was on backorder is now missing so it was either canceled or filled.
