Explaining Viper things to you
I've Read about every thread on the Woodhouse engine mounts. Saw the one by ab.

I have a set of the mounts to put on when I do my headers here in bit, and had the same question about 2 lefts or 2 rights. I bought them from Parts Rack, and sent an inquiry to Jon.

He forwarded that inquiry to Woodhouse and here is the reply:

They say:

The mounts are the same for both sides. The alignment dowel on the passenger side "may" need to be ground off if he has a problem getting it to drop in.

I installed the Woodhouse mounts. It took me a lot of fanagling, but I finally got the dowel pin and the bolts in the block to line-up. Had I known how much time I would spend trying to get it to fit without forcing it (literally hours), I would have just ground the dowel off to begin with. Unfortunately I was not observant enough at the time to notice that the stock mount was missing the pin on one side.

I just finished the Woodhouse mounts on my 01 GTS. I used ViperTony's method, but had problems with the one bolt, then lower part. I could not get the 2nd bolt in on top. I then re-raised the engine a little, and put in both bracket bolts. Then I lowered it and it went right down. The "extra long" stud was actually a help as it kept the mount lined up as I raised and lowered. BTW, I had my headers off for my Belanger install, so that may have made it easier.
