Keep in mind that the premise of selling a high-dollar item on E-Bay which someone would possibly have to set up a loan for is not easy to sell. Or then it's also a matter of your ad happening to be online in the same 7 day window that the who is ready to pull the trigger on it is looking.
The US has been staving off the next recession for a while. I can't predict where we stand or where we're going with that, but I can walk down the street and count all the houses for sale and point to all the people who have been living beyond their means. Cars depreciate over time and are essentially a luxury expense. The market for this type of item is drying up as people's assets.... house, property, investments.... all take a brief plunge and they begin watching the bottom line with a fearful eye.
Just not a great time to be selling anything.
On the flip side, this and the next several years are a DREAM for anyone looking to spend some dough.
