I signed the petition, but also sent an email to Chrysler Europe to let them know that NO one of their dealerships over here knows a clue about Vipers and we NEED Tator to have our cars serviced and repaired the way they should.
Tator's Dodge should be an example to follow by any other dealer...
Gen1 and Gen2 knobs are different. At least they are on my 96 RT. I have similar knobs on my car, but the guy who did them had to make me a custom set because the two front female knobs are shorter than the Gen2. The single rear male knob is the same I believe.
Sorry to hear that.
Same thing happened to me last year.
Remember what people say: it's not "if" but "when" the gaskets blew.
Well, gets the parts from Tator and you will get a bunch of good advices if you are doing the job yourself. Not a hard job if you are a little bit mechanically...
Sorry to hear that.
For your information, last time I changed my battery was…let me remember…in 2000.
Yep, seven years, no battery tender (even during winter) and NO problem! :)
Edit: It's a Mopar battery!
Good luck!
Can't wait to see one these beasts on our roads.
Would be nice to keep us informed how difficult it is to get the new Viper legal over here.
:2tu:
Does the car have modified gears?
I don't know if it is true or not, but I read once that if you have gears installed, the speedo calibration box only modifies the info that goes to the speedo so that it indicates the right speed, but the PCM still reads the speed (and so the # of miles)...
