Nice baseline numbers... mine put down 424 rwhp / 456 rwtq bone stock w/ smooth tubes. With headers, high flows and exhaust it put down 435 rwhp / 480 rwtq.
The dealer has the right to sell w/ a mark up. I won't ever support a dealer that does that.
Secondly, if someone is willing to pay that price to be one of the first to have one... more power to them.
Thanks for letting us know about the deal on the tires, but these GY's are a horrible tire... expensive and don't last very long. I switched to a Michelin non-runflat w/ a 60k mile warranty and couldn't be happier. Went wit 245's all around so I could rotate the tires.
I read it as well, but not impressed since the SLS isn't that great of sports car / grand tourer from all the articles I've read. So it's quicker and faster than a heavier / less powerful auto benz? Meh...
Re: Mopars at the Rock !!!
Glad I saw this thread... I'll check with the cheif schedule maker of the household and see if she has anything on the calendar. I think a group driving down together from C&C would be ideal. I'd recommend getting this out to the Challenger forum as well.
You'll want to change the motor oil, coolant, rear diff fluid, tranny fluid, brake fluid, clutch fluid. Probably need new tires... Just keep that in mind with whatever GTS you end up buying. I'd also recommend having someone that knows Vipers check the car out.
Not sure on values in CN...
That is a great price on that car... some minor issues to look out for, but nothing crazy.
All I ask is if you don't buy it, pass it to someone from the club...
