Total BS my daughter works for a dealership and goes to the auctions out here in Cali. In the last couple of years I think she has seen one. I have her looking for me all the time.
I recently replaced the clutch and brake pedal bushings. It make a very noticable difference in both smoothness and pressure. If you have an old Gen 1 like me I'd try that it also made it much easier to engage the engine switch.
I found one small secret to making it easy to do.
Manny, FYI, love the Purners.
Does that car have a cage, rollbar? or ?
Just thinking that may come in handy when you run the unlimited class at the Silver State in May. (nudge, poke, nudge) You are going right? :D
The camera mount can be purchased from Rivergate. I have to give credit to its find to our local VCA pres. I originally saw one on his GTS and liked it a lot.
I had mine powder coated black. They are originally billet aluminum.
Yes, that's my Valentine detector. It seems to work very well for me. I'm not sure how I would know if it varies from a windshield mounted unit. What I like most is the fact that my rear window is very darkly tinted and the unit sits up under the sport bar and is almost invisible unless you're...
OMFG!! please oh, please someone tell me that's photo shopped.
Did he/she drill holes in the hatch back... ?
(LOL... GTS hatch back)
<I'll be dawning my flame suit now.>
Hey! What's up with the go-cart racing? Can you share any info on that? I've been thinking that I'd like to get into carts, something to do with my G-Kids.
Thanks

Hey Marv: I'm thinking you're referring to the SS event May of 2002 right? That was the time my hood latch broke only 5 miles into the run and I had to sit out the rest of the race from the side lines. Judging speed from the side lines like that I'd say that corvair was the fastest of the...
I'm starting my search for an exclosed trailer. Long story but suffice it to say I've been through three trailers (open variety) and have decided that I need two trailers, one for utility and one for Viper. The latter being the most fun of course.
I'm interested in pro's and con's of features...
I'll be in Patuxent River MD sad to say. Work Related!
See Vic you're not the only one who has to work.
I am trying to swing the Willow Springs TCRA track day though. I know MY priorities. :D
Hey Dave, and anyone else interested, I was reluctant to attend due to the "extremely" early time. Coming all the way from Riverside is about an hour drive and means a 5:00 revile. After going my first time a couple of weeks ago I can testify that it's nothing short of worth it. To see all the...
Yeah what Chuck said.
Also, that pump is the same as in a Jeep Cherokee. cost $125 vs $400 for one with the 'V' suffix. You will need to swap the resevoir out. For $275 I think the 20 minutes it takes to swap them is worth it.
I've attended several Viper Days events and Skip Thomas always talks about the 96 rims breaking with Hoosiers. Knowing how safety concious Viper Days is that will probably change. I think everyone believed that the added grip of the Hoosisers is what caused the rim(s) to fail, guess again. It...
It would be real cool if you could elaborate on the problem and the process to fix it. I've seen this question many times and have yet to see a definative solution. I'm sure there is one, I just don't know what it is.
Woah! Obviously this is one of those "all nighter's" cuz who in Riverside would get up at 5:00am and to be in OC by 6:30am? Although, it is for Krispy Kream's!
PCH south of Fashion Island huh.
That early in the am should be a fun run down the 91.
(Note: set alarm, pack camera)
Hey, there...
