My first Viper was a Gen one and I had the same problem. As far as I know it is a common problem and I never ran across a fix for it. It happened to me only when I hit a sharp bump with a front wheel.
I also put a Borla cat back on my 08 with 15,000 miles.
It sucks for the same reasons. Had it on my 2000 GTS and it was great! They changed something. $1200 out the window.

I would recommend auto trader or cargurus. For selling I prefer a Autotrader and for buying either site is excellent. Cost for a Autotrader with all the bells and whistle’s is $90. Good luck

no joke on this article. i concider myself an experienced sports car driver and it took me about 6 weeks before my i felt i controlled my first viper. as much fun as these cars are they will bite you hard if you don't respect them.
