The handling wouldn't be quite as good if the weight distribution moved towards the front. Obviously the V10 is longer and sits up further to the front; question is, is it lighter than the 6.4 (cast iron block)? All this aside, the cool factor of this SRT10 300C is pretty high! Thx for the pics.
What stood out to me were the hood and trunk gaps in the Gen V; unacceptable for a car in that price range. Hopefully SRT has addressed that for the production cars.
You were driving on summer tires in winter weather and wide ones at that which in wet weather is a horrible combination. Hard tires like the runflats even worse. You're practically skating on ice. 80 mph plus swerve in these conditions = no traction. Even if it wasn't wet, I wouldn't have...
Yep - mine does it big time with any sharp turns on my still original runflats. It's a bunch of hard rubber that just doesn't squirm nicely under hard turning. I know, I know - they will get replaced.
Have to get used to the lack of cruise control for the long haul but I had a 2001 Vette Vert with cruise control and would take my current 05 Viper over it any day for a long drive.
This can also depend on your proportions: If you have a tall upper body, the lowering kits obviously would help but if you longer in the inseam dept, then the lowering kits will be of little value.
I found this to be true also but the cabin heat was still a problem despite hi-flo cats. When I took the crossovers out, the drone and loudness went up significantly but the cabin heat (even in footwell area) went down significantly. I dumped the headers/cats and went back to factory but still...
Looks like Ralph was showing off the traction nannies the Gen V has. These can be driven in bad weather without crashing! Of course it helped that there wasn't much snow on the ground. :omg:
Kudos to you. When the color means that much to you, you should get it. Fortunately you doing well enough to afford it even though you would rather pay less, I'm sure. I like the color a lot myself and would probably get it if I could easily afford it. That color will certainly stand out to...
It comes down to the money factor or interest rate. With cost of money so cheap these days we should see good leases, especially if the manufacturer wants to sell more cars. I generally find three year lease payments comparable to 6 or 7 yr finance payments. I think you're better off with the...
