05 added knock sensors which might make a bit more difficult for tuning.
05 and up the transmissions are stronger, they switched to a stronger metal for the gears.
also I didn't retune until I put the S/C on...overa year later.

I have kooks. I made a post about them a couple years ago. I like them a lot. The car made 494hp 522tq at the wheels with just the headers, no cats and a corsa....and it sounds mean!
I should have had them coated to cut down on the heat. Some of the flex loom on some wiring has melted...
1.48 sixty foot is awesome, though I would have thought you would've had a lower elapsed time.....hot day? What was the mph?
I know of a a few heads/cam LS1 cars with converters that pull low 11's on dr's....If the car is set up well it's almost easy to get a nice time out of a set up like...
335/30/20 ps2 (if this is what you are running) is even taller than the stock viper tires so you have a larger foot print and a similar sidewall profile.
Your combo is good for mid/high 11's on a nice day with a pretty good driver.
If your buddies heads/cam LS1 was done right it will be a...
I agree with Dan. I've tried just about everything and the 3" corsa track is the best choice. If that is still too loud you can add some bullet mufflers in front of the existing mufflers. Aeroturbine makes some nice quality inexpensive short ones.
While you might be able to fit them before the...
yes they are hard to install. i left the tab but rounded off a corner to get it to set into place. It is easier if you are installing headers at the same time.

I've installed M&M's and Bellangers on gen III's...they are almost identical. If I was to pick between two I'd get the M&M's and put that $1000.00 towards some more mods.:2tu:
wow 23 mpg...impressive haha best I've ever managed was 17.7 mpg.....that's only with 700 rwhp. I've yet to go a complete tank of gas without putting my foot in it. Usually I get about 120 miles to a tank :o
The powder coat (PVD) version is darker. The electroplate version has less imperfections but is not as dark.

I had 4.56 gears and an NX 150 hp shot on my 02 4.7 ho grand...it suprised a lot of people :)
back on topic...get a car with with ABS unless you gotta have a specific color or want forged pistons:2tu:
Whoah Gene, glad you're ok.
Coming from a blown GEN III, an N/A GEN II is going to feel pretty weak. It's a huge difference in power. If you change your mind, put a Roe blower on it!
P.S. I ended up with one of my rear tires hanging off the edge of a ravine (I could not see the bottom) a...
