Steve, you should sell a bunch of these. I always wondered why no body had come out with a kit like this. Finally an affordable alternative to full blown coil overs.:2tu:
I did the "wait two months for the dealer to fix it" ....once. Shelling out the dough to fix it now and not have to wait is worth the money.
Why fix it when you can upgrade? call Parts Rack get a quaife
Mine is a blast, but I keep seeing these ACR's and I want one....or a ACR clone...so I'm toying with the idea of switching to a coupe at some point, I love the drop top though.
Mike sold the Copper head with the Monacos....so it's become kind of dull around these parts.
I Forged does put in...
If you run the car at a lower ride hight , it will wear holes in the fender liners no matter what setting you put your coil overs to or what tire you run. I have tried higher pressure in the motons and running them at the hardest setting, pzeros to the ps2 and back to pzeros, it still bottoms...
I agree with the others, 700 rwhp is really about as high as you want to go unless you beef up the bottom end and the stock 8psi pully can get you there with the right tune. But if you have the ability build up the bottom end and set it up to run the higher boost.
Yep, it's all in the tune.
I have a stock motor. I hit 10psi and sometimes 11 psi. I run race gas though and a conservative tune.....about 4000 miles on this setup. It's all in the tune. Mine makes about 700 at the wheels, get more aggressive with the tune and it should get closer to 750.
I've had the low fuel light come on and still romped on it...a/f stays at 11.5 or so...never noticed a problem. Still I think about filling it up when I get to the half tank mark. I run 50/50 with 100/91 so I kinda have to plan ahead on the refills
also, I just happend to notice...
nice numbers...it seems to be going a little lean on the top end though (if the readings are correct) what does your A/F gauge say when you are up around 5,500 to 6,000?
