Walk out and try it Bonks.....This is a good way to field test your alternator. Get it started and the disconnect the battery. If it dies within a short period of time, or the whole thing falters....the alternator is not putting out enough. :)

If the battery is, for the most part, ONLY needed to START the car.....then the Alternator takes over all of the electronics and runs the motor.....what good is disconnecting the battery?

I have two stock fascias sitting here in my home office and both are tore up a tiny bit underneath. :) What I would consider "normal". Sad......but....normal.

Yeah...I remember that headache from installing mine. All finished and THEN realized they had been assembled backwards. Easy fix once you know which way is up. :)
The second way. After I installed mine it was clear after a short time that the deflectors had been mounted to the brackets upside down. :( I remounted them right after we figured this out....but I didn't update the pcture, now I don't have access to the Illustrated Instructions on this...
