    Re: If it was the cap...it will clear itself after a certain number of key cycles (not sure how many). Chances are it will bug you too much to wait, so your options are to take it to dealer...or buy a code reader. :)

    Head Unit Confussion

    One of my favorites is the Sony MEX1GP. I think I retail it at $229, removable face plate that is a 1GB MP3 player with USB interface. Hook it up to your PC, stuff it with MP3's and away you go. NOT the be all and end all....but very nice. The options, as you noticed, are staggering. :)

    What they all said....plus: I HAD the ceramic substrate cats...they came apart and I burned a side sill. Sean sent me the metallic substrate cats and I haven't had the heat problem that bad since I changed them out. Same goes for the 9 and 10.....have you upgraded the firmware on the VEC2...

    AC Problem

    All I know is I used a DIY refill last year and ended up with no AC this year. MOST likely it was operator error, sucks to be me. Took car to a friend of a friend who does this stuff for a living...AC is good-to-go!! I'll stick to the few things I know from now on. :)

    Please re-read what was written. :) You CAN fix this....all it takes is a little check valve for the vacuum line. Your Viper may blow HOT air when you get on the gas....but my AC blows COLD all the time. :)
