All that said this video should have been out already, I agree. However, this was released info way before dodge was ready in my opinion. Everyone who knew the time just HAD TO LET everyone know they knew before Dodge was ready. How soon did Lexus let everyone know after they set their record...
As long as LME puts the right ring packs in your engine you'll be fine. Ask me how I know :) Although not rocket science experience does matter, I'll keep any further opinions to myself but there is definitely a lot of misinformation from this whole thread (not directed at you Tony). Lots of...
Ralph stated at the Narra event in VIR this year that if all goes well we will see it at a venue hopefully in the first quarter of 2012. I originally thought Detroit and unfortunately remembered it that way. I just edited this post to read what was said not my hope :). Not sure if things are...
No you don't have to but I do anyway since it is so easy. It really helps when you get to the back spark plugs and the back tubes on the headers. That is always the first thing I remove.
By leaving the driver side loose you went up even with the motor, it actually helps to pull the motor...
Only lift the passenger side of the motor. If you lift the whole motor it doesn't work. Leave the engine mount attached on the driver side and it will help
The LFA deserves credit no matter what. It is a true production car or will be and it was on street tires. The ZR1 and Z06 were 2012 models and I don't know that they have been released yet to the general public either. Let's just hope the ACR not the ACRX beats the time if they are even...
Tires: 1,500 a set and you really need two sets. so $3,000 and that is for Hoosier R6's. Oil Change, trans fluid and diff fluid at minimum every other event. $150. Brake Fluid change before and bleed during the event. $40-$60 depending on how much you have to bleed during the weekend (I...
Toddy, just curious, but I know that Dodge reflashes the X's if they run your clutch. Are you saying that a normal Mopar Performance Controller that is not reflashed will not have an issue? If this is the case why is Dodge reflashing them? I will eventually need another clutch and I want to...
If you aren't worried about the turning radius the steering limiter would be the right fix for you. You won't have to "Remember" anything as it is a mechanical limit to the steering travel. Cutting on a sway bar is not a good idea when there is another fix to the problem.
I eyeballed the place where I wanted to cut the facia then used blue tape to make a straight edge. I used a jig saw to make the cut and used an air sander to clean it up.
The bushings take quite a bit off of the turning radius but do not effect the car on track at all. They aren't the best...
It is great. I have not had any brake fade issues. It is holding up great and I have not added the bolts or reinforcement and have had zero issues. I will do so but haven't got around to it yet. The clamps were added but these pics were during the install.
Boxer,
The spindle ducts I used are from the X as are the aluminum bushings to limit the steering rack. I sourced both of these parts from ViperRaceHeadquarters. Hope this helps. DO NOT REMOVE THE TIE ROD FROM THE SPINDLE to install the limiter bushings. The easiers thing to do is unscrew...
Be a loyal customer and Jon doesn't care if its a Monday - Sunday or any other day. He has called me on a weekend when he found information that could benefit me. That is the supplier I want to deal with. Price is always great but that is not what my motivation is based off of. I care more...
