If you put the car on a trailer and took it home to a climate controlled garage, and then resisted the urge to EVER drive it they MIGHT give you 85% on trade-in. GTS Rims made of?
Don't waste your time trying to polish the '96 wheels. I stripped, buffed and polished for 2 days on mine, and they still looked like dull aluminum. The shine was no where near the 97-98 wheels, and you'd be miles ahead if you just got a set of the newer ones.- 96GTS

New brake rotors
I have a new set of rotors and brake pads on the way, but I was wondering if I need the "special tool" listed in the shop manual to push the piston back into the caliper? I have never changed a set of pads and rotors and was wondering how difficult it was. Thanks.- 96GTS

Ok guys I need some help here
What is their contact information, and who do we need to talk to? I'd LOVE to get a GTS in 1/12 scale, and I even went to Michael's looking for some clay and molding materials to make one out of one of my RT/10's but couldn't find what I was looking for.- 96GTS

GTS Fuel Cap
I think a different cap will be unique, but I love the one that's on there now. I had mine chromed and it made a big difference.- 96GTS

SRT-10 "Start" button for a GTS
Does anyone know how much of a pain it would be to install the "Engine Start" button on a Gen II? My father has an SRT-10 Ram and that thing is too cool! The only thing that concerns me is the electrical aspect.- 96GTS

Gen II are a automotive masterpiece
The Gen III is growing on my, but I seriously doubt it will ever evoke the same emotion as when I see a GTS. I wish they would put the Gen II body on the Gen 3.5 or IV chasis. WTF - Z06 still faster
Who cares...it's still a Corvette. Horsepower and light weight can only make up for so much, but in the end it still looks like the other 35,000 produced each year. Late 90's 18" wheels
Re: Late 90\'s 18\" wheels I found a set of the forged 17" wheels and stuck a set of Kumho V-710 tires on them for track use. You can polish them and make them look like chrome too. The down side is that I want to upgrade to the SRT-10 brakes, and the 17" rim won't fit.- 96GTS

Anybody in ABU DHABI U.A.E. ???
I was in Saudi in '92 and '94 and thought it would be cool to go to "chop chop square" and see someone get their head chopped off. I watched 5 guys get decapitated, and it's an image that never leaves. It was disurbing and it's something I wish I had never seen.- 96GTS
