This is exactly what I did, put my LSD first and then started pumping diff fluid, but in the middle of it decided to check with manual how much of the fluid I need to pump and got very surprised that it says 1.3Quarts or 41oz of diff fluid only. That is way under 2Qrts and defenately not 3...
Hey guys, need quick help, I am changing my diff fluid now, I looked up all of the forum and members suggest that I need to use 2 and some even say 3 Quarts of diff fluid and 4OZ of limited slip. However, I checked manual and it says that I only need to put 1.3 Quart of diff fluid plus LSD...
I guess, it depends on the warranty, but before bringing my car to the dealer I called warranty guys directly and they confirmed that I have rental car in the policy. Though the rental should be no higher than $35 a day.
Ha ha, man I think those good days of good service is gone, the few supporting vendors that we are lucky to have on this forum is the dying breed of good service.
To continue my story, the service manager called me demanding that I pick up my car today or they will charge me overnight for the...
Can I bring it to independent shop for a job under extended warranty? I thought I can only bring car to dealer to do work under warranty (eventhough extended).
Every time I am taking car to a dealer for service I absolutely hate it. Here is my latest rant...
I noticed an oil smudge on the oil pan that would re-appear every time I wipe it off, see my other post...
With Dodge dealerships falling off of the face of the earth like leaves in the Fall, where do you guys who live in Nor Cal take your Vipers for service? And I mean service where people are attentive to high end rare cars like Vipers? Also, any particular service managers you know who is better...
I have it, at first I lost it and yesterday I found it, however, when I looked it up in the service manual they did not specify what these plugs are for :dunno:.
Hm, strange that you cannot see pictures? I see them just fine. However, I think you right it might the rear seal. Dam to bad the closest Chrysler dealer is like 40 miles away now. Can't believe it we came to these economic terms when there is no dealership in San Francisco or close Bay Area.
Can I use one of those two "plugs" to drain diff oil? The picture is kind of dark, but you can still see two plugs athe upper side of the picture, kind of in the shadow:
When I was changing motor oil, I noted a little bit of dirty oil at the very end of the oil pan, right between motor oil pan and the tranny. Well, I wiped it out and forgot about it for the last few weeks. Today, I took off the underbelly to do the oil change in the tranny and diff and once...
Hey guys, I read a lot of posts in regards of tranny and diff fluid. It seems that unless I want to go the the dealer, which is some 40 miles away from me (all near by dealerships closed) and pay premium on stock fluids, the best bet for the diff is Amsoil. I went to the local speedshop, but...
Well, unless I don't understand it because I have not seen it in action, but it seems that MitiVac is waste of money since all the oils still need to be changed the old way including enginge oil. Yes, it may help fill diff in a tight space but so is some other cheap pump. For brakes there is a...
Hey guys, I will be doing tranny oil change this weekend, somewhere on the internet I read that one can change fluid with MitiVac without lifting the car?
