Original post was 7/21/09!!!:omg:
Fortunately, between work and crappy weather, I haven't gotten too many stone chips as all my Viper seems to do is sit anyway.:dunno:
Dan, what can you do for the GenIV's?
I already have the Mopar computer. Would I need to send it to you for reprogramming, or is a handheld programmer being developed?
Thanks
As mentioned in the above post - 2 engine mounts & 1 transmission mount.
I only had the engine mounts in my '06 and I really liked them. At first there was plenty of vibration, but they broke in after a few hundred miles and most of the vibration went away.
They definitely give a feeling of...
I've got one out of my '08 w/ 500 miles on it. Basically new/No problems.
I purchased a complete differential from Unitrax w/ 3.55's. Just had it installed 3 weeks ago and all seems good, so I feel comfortable selling the stocker.
Just one silly question -
Is the '08 diff compatable...
From what I've read it's normal to get a CEL when the battery is disconnected (or replaced) on '08/'09 Vipers.
It should go out after several starts.
Not sure what exactly 'several' means though?:dunno:
A Black on Black '99 ACR would be tempting, but honestly, I never even drove a Gen1/2 Viper.
Probably not, as I know I wouldn't even want to put miles on a car like that. Or mod it.:dunno:
FWIW, I just purchased a Brand New Stock '08 Diff w/ 3.55's (already installed) from Unitrax for 2K.
Shortly I'll be looking to sell my factory stock diff (3.07 gears - 500 miles). Thinking of asking around ~1K.
With the Quaife, it sounds like a fair deal to me.
Hey Mark,
Eastern Pennsylvania anytime soon?
Nothing set in stone as of yet, but if by chance you do end up coming my way, please e-mail me (if possible).
I know I'd love your engine mounts on my '08 (had them on my '06), along with some exhaust work. I'd definitely prefer to have your...
I do like the sound, though I'll probably go with high-flow cats & Corsa just to take some of the edge off.
Originally I was going to do Headers as well, but I'll probably pass on those now.
Thanks!
I had the Woodhouse Engine Mounts in my '06 Coupe and loved the feel.
Now I want them in my '08! Guess I'll have to try to convince my Viper Tech to do some exhaust work for me while he's at it!:headbang:
