Green Filters

Well, I got a set of these along with many other trinkets to install. After looking at them, it just doesn't seem that they will fit in the stock airbox.

For anyone who has made them fit, what was the trick? Did you flatten them out somehow?

I had them in my '06. It's a tight fit, but they do fit.

Stick them in, replace the lid, and tighten the bolts down.;)

i too had them in my 05'.... they fit, but its tight... I also have 1 in my 08.

I got mine from Snakeoyl Products. Cory actually ordered red color filters from the Green Co.
Easy fit! Now I can use the K&N recharge kit

If you remove the top of the air box, there are 3 (i believe) plastic extensions/pieces that I had to flatten a bit w/ a dremel tool to get mine to fit on the '05. They contact the filter I believe and help to hold in place.
