Vipers are so rare in general and the srt10s look so brand new despite being a 10 year old desighn that people will continue to lust for them. 2003s are holding strong at 44k acording to kbb but real world 40k is the norm.

No doubt a gen4 vert beats the fgt in every catergary. And yes a gen3 is very very close...but
Just a pulley and tune on a fgt and it goes from stock gen3ish performance of low 120 mph traps to 132 mph in the quarter mile.
So now you have a car that can rival just about any modern day car...
As far as performance back in 04 in a heads up test the srt actually ran a 11.77 at 123.8 beating the ttys 11.78 at 123.6. A gen3 and fgt nearly mirror each other in performance till around 130 mph were the fgts extra 70 rwhp takes over it's weight disadvantage and the fgt wil start to walk.

Honestly I like the v10 better than the sc v8 but the fgt mid engine design makes up for that..

Actually a gen2 and the old school vetted have a slight resemblance. As far as the jag comment.lol. The new vert jag looks much more like a subdued srt than a gts

Gts is a rt10 with a few holes in the hood and a hard top with a revised rear.

it defiently looks old school. Everything from the headlights to panal gaps to interior desighn to the way to big dodge stealth side mirrors looks old school.
Is that bad..nope. But compared to a srt10 the gen1 and 2 look pretty old in every way.

actually theres a bit of differance acelleration wise.
average guy will run a 12.3 at 117 mph in a gen2 and 12.1 at 120 mph in a gen3.
Might not sound like a lot on paper but at the drag strip if your trapping 117 and the guy in the other lane is trapping 120 then hell be around 3 car lengths...
Honestly you park a 03 vert and 10 vert side by side and they are the same car. slightly differant hood and slightly differant wheels.
other than that they mirror eachother. Thats the lure of the 2003 to me. for around 40K you can get very close to the same experience as a brand new 91k 2010...
