Jeff. Your wrong. There are less gen3 viper than Gallardos. Our viper is the real deal. Big power. Out of this world looks and extremely rare.
Basically we can say what ever we want as we meet all criteria.
I have seen one viper on the road in the past six months. I saw a Ferrari and...
Its a vette.
06 z06 sells for less than 03 viper.
08 viper sells for 15k plus more than z06.
No one really cares about a c6z06 anymore. But every viper ever made is still special when they roll through
The TA will likely be the fastest around the road course....likely be the nicest looking car and likely have one of the best interiors.
0-60 in low 3s and as quarter mile in low 11s ain't nothing to take lightly
As far as gen4 power. My gen 3 made 555 r whp on a dyno jet with just a few bolts ons and the 710 cam on stock heads.
You do the molar 650 package plus a decent cam and you'll be around 7200 crank go. Far beyond gen4 power
I'd listen to install. It seems a Paxton with the correct fuel setup is just insane. People have been dumping 720 who and one member hit 137 mph in the quarter mile.
Im here to tell you 137 mph is very very fast.
Even Im considering a gen3 with a Paxton and a good fuel set up.
We all have our opinions. Here's mine.
Some genV are gonna dyno 540 rwhp. Most are gonna dyno 555 rwhp and some are gonna dyno 570.
Sometimes you just get lucky and get a beaste.
I don't belieave this is a beastly genV that just ran a ten second pass.
Hope Im not being offensive.
Im with nineball on this one. Jamie Furman in that 08 viper that ran a 10.92 @ 129 mph was at the worlds fastest drag strip in a negative 1500 density altitude if memory serves.
Put this genV in the same conditions and she will land somewhere between 131-133 mph.
A 138.xx is not fast. I mean yes if you want to compare the 2014 c7 to a 2006 z06 then Im sure its just as fast. But the z07 or zr1...lol. not even close.
C7 is a Damn fine car for the money though
You could see the viper start yanking the vette at the end of the vid...lol..
What the hell does he mean you might be a vette guy or a viper guy.....laughable..
The vette is 50-70k while the viper is 100-140k..
Lol...the viper is twice as expensive. Since when do you get to choose..?
Thats...
http://m.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicleDetails.xhtml?listingId=349883836&numRecords=15&firstRecord=16&zip=96797es the car is at Mitsubishi.
This is it...
Anyone willing to sacrifice there time to check it out for me.
Just a quick once over...
The dealership never called me back yet. Ill give them a few more days and Ill call and offer 56k.
To me that's fair. Not great but fair. Hopefully they'll see it my way but honestly if I was sitting on a 08 ssg vert with 20k miles I wouldn't sell for under 58k.
So I understand
That magical 700 rwhp that your buddies neibor swears is safe.
Then the engine oroblems will start.
There's no right or wrong here but these have been my experiences
In my personal experience after a cammed viper...head and cammed corvette....supercharged nsx and supercharged camaro..
The head and cammed cars are faster.
I'd put money on it that in the quarter mile a 600 rwhp head and cammed gen3 will run a 10.9 @ 131 mph while a 650 rwhp paxtoned gen 3...
