    it is only 5-1/4, but you can make 6-1/2 fit. I prefer 6" (less cutting and factory grills fit over top) The speakers in the center are worthless because the enclosure is not any good. Dont spend too much on the center speakers as you still will not get good sound out of it.

    If he took this car home and days later this happened, you could have smelled the fresh paint a mile away!!! How long did you car smell after I painted it? If you were looking at a car and smelled fresh paint wouldn't you ask why?

    Jamie- white smoke is oil buring, black is a rich condition. There should be a .035 restrictor in the oil feed line to the turbo if the oil feed is coming from the top of the motor. Vipers seem to have high oil presssure. Probably the oil feed is t'd off the sending unit port for your oil...

    It is eather heavy primer that was not fully cured when the top coat was applied, or they used a primer that was not comparable with the base and it shrunk. Eather way it now has to be stripped and repainted. That will be a job becuase the primer will be "gummy" The best way to stip this will...

    Re: What\'s involved in a piston swap? intake manifold and heads have to come off, pan has to come off. Pins off the crank and pull the pistons up thru the top. get new rod bearings and connecting rods too while you are doing it. Diamond pistons are the best value.

    Car would have been done a month ago, if we just fixed the damage, but we are adding lots of extras and we continue to wait on parts or have to figure out ways to make the aftermarket stuff work. This car is going to be one of a kind!!

    It is actaully better to have the one he bought. This upgrades the cooling system with the expansion tank. There is a reason they went this way from 94 up!

    In PA you have to pay the fine, then plead not guilty and try to win your $ back. Fing joke. it is just a revenue generator, in fact last time I asked the cop if they needed extra funds why didnt they just send a mailer out and save everyone time (I got a ticket for "rolling thu a stop sign")

    Project Viper: On the Rack

    I sal the ladder on the wall, smart move. I have your PM let me know if you still need the dim (I am sure he has them) how is he anchoring the car? I use full frame truck clamps that way I can still get the ladder under.
