I disagree totally. I am not a fan of yellow cars so adding black stripes just makes me think of a bumblebee. Black in my opinion is a sexy colour on a car so adding some yellow stripes makes it snap.
Keeping in mind, the original poster is not looking to spend a fortune. So I assume he is looking for a happy place between looks and cost, so likely a set of used factory rims is the best bet. Aka 5 stars and 6 spokes...both factory rims look amazing on the Gen I and II
I have trouble shifting and I have wheel hop. I wonder how bad mine are.
On another note, Free2Go's friend Bubba looks like the chick from American Horror Story

Ya, I am doing the ball joints and control arm bushings (poly) on my GTO. You should see what 45 year old bushings and ball joints look like. :(
I guess it's the same feeling no matter what vehicle it is. If you are willing to put up with the harder ride, than poly is the way to go
Ya, funny thing is I saw the car on autotrader, then googled it to find out some more info, and this thread was there so I thought it was only fitting.
I was wondering if anyone has a picture of all the Gen Vipers together (And cobra would be an added bonus). One that is more professionally taken is preferred (not having people in car shows walking by, etc). I wouldnt mind getting a nice one to put in my garage, but the google-box didn't give...
Apparently it is back for sale now:

On another note about these mounts. I am currently working on an old Pontiac and I do plan on doing poly mounts on the Viper eventually though. I do like to save where I can so I will be doing polybushings. I see no reason to pay double for the "brand name" just because some say I should...
I am not going to lie. I haven't watched a lot of episodes, but that Viper show was awesome. Low budget yes, but fun. I haven't seen the poster in the preview though.
Every year my wife, kids and I go to a local car show on Father's day. In 2013 I got second place (no trophy) for best in show. This last Father's day they relocated places and it was much bigger than previous years. A riced up new Camaro won best in class voted by the judges, and my lowly...
Oh no! Something was stolen from Will! We must keep our eyes peeled because we don't want anyone stealing from that class act! *end non-caring sarcasm*
What has the world come to when we are questioning Moog quality because of it's price? : ). Answer about the huge price difference is Moog is well priced and dealerships rape people on th parts they sell (then add in a viper tax)
I am doing sway bar links/ bushings, control arm bushings and...
