Best looking wheels on Gen I or II ??? Pics please..

Im looking for the best looking wheels for my gen II. Im a fan of huge lips on the rear and was trying to get an idea of what is out there in the real world on some Vipers. Pictures would be appreciated!!!I like the pricing of CCW and cant even come close to affording Forgelines at $1100+ a wheel...

Someone posted a picture of a red Gen I with PA plates with some sick wheels but I cant find the thread it was in..

Not sure these are the "best" however, it does reflect a contrast between my aftermarket BBS LMs and a set of GenII OEMs.

Personally I think the 3 spoke Gen 1 wheel is out there on its own in terms of looks and style. Hard to beat IMO

Keeping in mind, the original poster is not looking to spend a fortune. So I assume he is looking for a happy place between looks and cost, so likely a set of used factory rims is the best bet. Aka 5 stars and 6 spokes...both factory rims look amazing on the Gen I and II

WOW the blue GTS has left me stunned. I think I may need a gatorade and a coffee to snap out of it.

I have Iforged Astras 20x10 and 20x13. I think iforged, hre or a similar quality manufacturer is the only way to go.
You want the deep polished lips and strong light weight wheels as to not lose performance with the improved looks. I say 19 & 20 or 20&20 is a must if you're going for a home run

Purner CCW or BBS is the only way to go for earlier Gens. The polished BBS are awesome and very well made.

I have CCW on my Challenger and they are great but be careful not to let hard water spots stain them. Man that is some hard aluminum and hard to polish so I had then chromed.

I wonder how it would look in 18" on a viper without the silly stance. Its kind of like a period correct wheel from the late 90's styling.

I think any polished aluminum wheel has a hard time with hard water spots. My HRE wheels did the same. You cant let it sit, and its probably rare to let a Viper sit in sprinklers and then leave it for a day.

I dont think those old school wheels will look good. The point of wheels is to update and modernize the look of your car, that will make it look older where the right wheels will make it almost indistinguishable to from Gen Vs to the normal person. That's my opinion, it may look good or at least unique

I can say I have had aluminum wheels in the past that water stains polished out easy with metal polish sitting or not but with my CCW's I would maybe run through a small water puddle on a sunny day and they would be stained by the time i got home.

Personally, I like the one piece Forgeline VR1's that they used to sell. There was/is a set listed in the classifieds for a killer price, if they are still available.

I just found the wheel I want...CCW SP510 , it is not available in 5 lug design but they said they did a set in a 6 spoke called the SP610 about 12 years ago for one guy. They look like the sidewinder wheels but have a lip and bolts around the wheel barrel which I like!!! Now to start saving my pennies for them.
