Prefix is the company that performed the modification. They used the factory Gen 3/4 top, so fitment was not issue at all. Cost to convert would be around 15K. I haven't looked in a while, but I though there where still some new ones that had not sold. Tomball Dodge is who was selling them new.

I think you are hearing the U-joint where driveshaft meets the rear end. You probably want to have looked at as depending on the mileage you may have excessive play in one of the U-joints. There will be some clunking from time to time due to short wheelbase though. How many miles are on your car?
Make sure there isn't a mute button and you might also want to make sure the AVC is turned off in the event that function on head unit has gone bad. Everything you are describing points to the amp.
