yeah "Pre-production " with light rotors, ACR wheels PS2's, prob KW's or could we say? ? ?
? SRT-10 ACR roadster ? (minus aero body mods) or exactly the car i'd want to have !
ACR handling mods, lighter weight(to the already lighter roadster platform), without the downforce...
Re: oval will depend on final track selection MIS has oval and road, so does Chelsea proving grounds and will prob depend on which layout/track configuration they decide to run at either location.
I just spoke with Todd C. a few days ago and he was not sure what the future was going to hold but i will not doubt what JonB said espicailly when said with such conviction. I hope they stay afloat they have a lot of good people there.
INHO if you want BIG HP(and want to spend som BIG $) send your car to Heffner's Performance in FL. and go with a TT system, but the debate will rage on. As mentioned above many threads in the past on this subject.
lots of tuners with a good reputation(and quite a few with a bad one) out there...
AWD is really a help on launching cars in a drag race, the extra weight isn't so great on a road course(or the understeer) it can induce. not a bad showing that the Jeep GC SRT-8 wtih a 175 shot should be near 600 hp(crank).
i am not sure but i think the ACR wheels are SRT-Sidewinder(from the Copperhead) with a different finish. I got mine from JonB at PartsRack and sold him my 10-spoke boat anchors in trade. He will hook you up with whatever you need, at a great price.
Another to throw an opinion in the hat, and I also agree with Bill P. the extra weight of the ZR-1 over the ZO6 and heat soak of the S/C will not bring consistently faster lap times than the ACR and poss. even the reg SRT-10
the '08 hood and AP Engineering and some of the other new '08 style hoods are what the car should have come with they are functionally better than the '03-'06 hoods and will vent and duct away the hot under hood air in a better location to keep cockpit cooler. far from a poser mod !
Autoform is the one that I have DC performance has one also advantages and disadvantages to both.
though i'd prob do the Autoform if doing it again
call JonB at PartsRack Online Shopping - Home he will hook up with the best deal, he's an Autoform dist.
in Hillsdale Michigan also JonB at PartsRack Online Shopping - Home and Autoform both site sponsors may be able to help with the rest of the stickers and numbers if you choose to put them on(i think it looks too busy with them, more authentic but busy)
