What Plum said. I don't care what you do....the V10 sound will always sound different than the old throaty sounds we're all used to with a hopped up V8. :sorry2:
Call Brian Brice. He'll come to you with all of his equipment. Best guy around. He's on the Forums...Brian_Brice. Look him up. This guy is a detail guru.
Any of you guys ever seen a Harrier in action? This is the big jet that has nozzles that rotate and can lift off and hover like a chopper. Also a WW II B 25 Mitchell rides. All this takes place in Culpeper on Saturday. Admission is free. Hours from 10 to 4. This is a great show and flight demo's.
You need to find a speed shop that specializes in mounting wide tires. I had the same problem and was directed to a shop that specialized in mounting and balancing wide tires on monster wheels. A regular tire machine at a tire store won't do the job you're seeking. A special adapter is needed...
Trophies for each Generation. Howard....same entry fee as last year at $15.00 and 2 cans of food if we want to give?
Let's win this thing this year! :headbang:
Great seeing you Jim. Thanks for coming out. There were 165 cars that eventually showed. Same old story when it came to the judging. I was sure that GT 40 would take best of show but neither he nor myself got even a mention. Two very unique cars being we had the only models there with no...
This show is smack dab in the middle of town where Main St intersects with Davis St. Main St is Rte 29 Business. Can't miss it. Weather is looking great. :headbang:
Register once you get there on Davis St. 15 bucks. Hope to see you there! Hours are 9 to 3. I'll get there about 8.
Website is Culpeper County Volunteer Fire Department for more info.
This Sunday 9/5, there will be a car show put on by the Culpeper VFD on Davis St in Old Town Culpeper. Street will be shut down. I have no idea of how many cars but it is usually a pretty good turnout with some nice cars. If you NoVa guys are looking for something to do over this long weekend...
Try taking your wallet out of your hip pocket and putting it in the glove box. Works for me. No kidding. After long drives my back would really hurt. Mostly on right side. I started thinking about the cause and took my wallet out of my pocket. Months have passed and no back problems.
Unless you've got a Dyno slip they go by the HP that the car has stock. Doesn't matter what we say or think we're putting out they go by the stock HP with no proof on paper showing different. If we get more Vipers than the 13 or 14 last year we should have a decent chance. Would be nice to take...
Had a little fun out on 29 early yesterday evening. My son has a 5.0 Stang with a supercharger and Nitrous. He reluctantly didn't squirt any in our rolling 15 mph start but I got him good. Side by side with me slightly ahead until I hit 3rd and then I was gone. He's got 4.11 rear, automatic, and...
My wife was hinting about what she wanted for our upcoming anniversary.
She said, "I want something shiny that goes from 0 to 150 in about 3 seconds."
I bought her a bathroom scale.
And then the fight started........:lmao:
Guess he should've got her a Gen 1 Viper.
After retiring, I...
Great pics but why in the world would you cover your wheels and tires at a show when surrounded by other Vipers? I thought I was a fanatic but that red and white stripped GTS under a red tent with the covers over the wheels takes fanaticism to new heights. Was this GTS something...
Count me in Howard. A good friend will probably be with me...only problem is he has a 65 Vette convertible he will bring.
This is a great event and you do a heckuva job.
See you then. :2tu:
This Viper driver must wear a jockstrap the size of a basketball to be able to park like this and walk away without a care in the world. No doubt this is a key or a screwdriver job just asking for it. No driver wants their nice ride keyed or messed with but this is an invitation for a stroke...
Welcome Jim,
Nice Car! Looks like you have a 2 headed exhaust pipe extension on your beast. :omg: Am I seeing things correctly? Where'd you find them?
Welcome to the club. Hope to see you at some events. :headbang:
Tom and Barron....great to see you guys back in the saddles again. Look forward to seeing you guys and the new car very soon. That sure is a good looking car. Great wheels and mods! JonB's da man!
Greg
Looks like it has Gen II doors on it. They don't line up with the Sports bar when the doors close and it definitely has a Gen II rear exhaust panel.
Sounds great though. Can also do with out the marker lights on the side fender. Maybe that's a requirement in Europe. :usa:
Same scenario happened to me on what was a "mystery oil leak and where was it coming from". Start your engine and turn your steering wheel to the right or left all the way till you can't turn it any more and hold it for a second or two. Look underneath after you shut it down and see if there's a...
Received this from Summit Point. Anyone done this before? "Drive your car on our track at top speed"? :drive: Sounds very tempting. I might go to this just to see what it's all about. Can't believe for 40 bucks they've got a long enough stretch to hit 150+. Anyone else interested?
Don’t miss...
