    will 2 trunk struts raise the hood?

    1,2,3,4,... struts will not LIFT an RT trunk lid. I have one heavy duty strut and once you lift it past the balance point it pushes up, and stays up. I also have the Mopar spoiler. Later, (sorry, not a red car)
