Put on the heat shields.
Otherwise, you will melt stuff.
Without shields, you will be posting here in about a week, saying that it is really hard for you to shift into reverse. Then, people will tell you that you have melted your wiring harness, and shorted out your reverse lock-out solenoid...
I had no idea that a blower added that much weight.
My n/a car weighs a little bit less than stock (3360 with a full tank of gas) even though I've added quite a bit of weight with my roll bar, fire supression, and accusump.
I'm no where near a good enough driver to take advantage of the...
When it is time to repaint my car, I'm going to go with HOK paint.
If you are going to the trouble and expense of repainting your car, I can't see why you would paint it a stock color.
This information came from one of the SRT engineers during the tech chat session. He said that the Viper tires were better than the aftermarket PS2 tires.
He didn't say how they were different, just that they were better.
Here is the quote:

I like Clarkson.
He's funny, and irreverent, and says what he thinks. He doesn't just pick on Americans. He picks on everyone (including the Brits.)
His review of the SRT-10 was pretty good.
You can't take him too seriously. Don't expect unbiased, scientific car reviews from him...

Love the video. Can't wait for the review.

It's more than you might think.
According to the tire manufacturer's specs it's about a 4 percent difference. Checking my speedometer speed against radar, I've noticed an even greater variation, about 8 percent (or 5mph variance at 60mph.)
At open road racing speeds (120mph+) this...
How hard is it to recalibrate the speedometer?
My new PS2 front tires are a little smaller than my stock runflats, and this makes my speedometer read too high.
Anyone here had this done?
Sandhills elevation is about 3200 feet.
I ran 178.9 in my naturally aspirated car. (Next year, I will lighten the fuel load a bit and see if I can break 180.)
I've been pulled over a couple of times for no front plate, but have never had a ticket.
I am polite to the police man. Ask him (nicely) if this were his car, where he would put the front plate?
I have had a couple of parking tickets for no front plate. Cost was $16 each. At that cost...
