just sharing with fellow oregonian. if he feels that way I would be happy to remove it. I used a small version of the image for that very reason. was not my intention.
A lot of you sound just like everyone when a new version of whatever they have comes out. We all heard the same things when Gen3 and even when the 4 came out. I have driven a Gen 2/3/4 viper and I would choose my Gen 4 ACR over any other road viper. I'm positive SRT/Dodge won't let us down...
Congrats. I'm originally from oregon but live in calif now. i went to OSU and lived in portland a long time. going to OSU explains my color choice! ;) Yours looks great too.
it's road course dominating car that can driven on the streets. it's not a drag racer or some kind of stupid ricer stop light champion. You want that pick one of the other cars you mentioned. If you want an extremely fast road course car that rewards good driving and looks like a million...
I'm very surprised there haven't been any pictures of complete mules yet. The C7 has already been snapped in the wild and it's not due for another year. Dodge is keeping this one buttoned up tight.
The coupe does. And no ferrari produces even close to what the ACR does in down force. Show me a ferrari or hell any road, production car that produces over 1000 lbs of downforce without a wing? Hell. make that any car...even a race car. I'll wait right here.
You dont' have too. Just get state farm. I totaled my last car at Infineon out here in Calif. i got about $400 less then I paid for the car brand new 4 years previous from state farm. State farm covers anything as long as it's not timed. I hear that maybe PA has an exception, but if you are...
Did you go from an evo to an ACR?
I went s2000 -> evo -> acr. I am happy to be back in a RWD, 2 seater. I did really like my evo, but I felt like it made me think i was a better driver then I actually was. I crashed it at infineon, totalled it actually. :) Loving the acr. have fun with...
isn't it just 5th gear? i'm never driven laguna, but you don't get into 5th do you? maybe the revised aero would make a small difference.
Beautiful car! Love the look of the ACR.
He hit a guy's car that I know. It was an RX-8. The rx-8 owner was fine. What's funny is the RX-8 owner just bought an 09 ACR too after chatting with me for a while about my ACR. He had just put a new motor in the RX-8 too. Oh well, stuff happens sometimes.

My prediction: People will complain about the styling. People will say their Gen 1,2,3,4 is better because of ______. But, through all this the Gen 5 will be a faster better car and I look forward to getting one to sit along side my ACR in the future.
evo or sti are great for most of the things you listed. As a track car I don't like them for learning as they allow you go to fast to easily before they get you in hot water. The handling is very safe and fast until the edge and then it's just understeer and more understeer which usually...
driving through new mexico it was run out gas or put 90 in it, so i had to. It caused one of the O2 sensors to malfunction. It threw the light and I had it replaced. That is most likely the emissions problem a bad O2 sensor. But, if it's not emissions could be a host of things. Just take it in.
I'm having the same issue. The stick is totally covered up until a point and then it it's like half covered up to above the max fill line. How am i supposed to read this thing? I wiped it and redid it like 10 times....same result. It makes it almost impossible for me to read the dipstick...
I've always done all my minor services my self (oil, brake fluid, pad changes, etc) and because i track all my cars have never kept good oil change interval records. I was changing it constantly. It's never hurt resale. If someone won't buy the car without anal-retentive record keeping...
