First-timer too! And probably just as nervous about it as you are Rob, but a little rain might make it more fun! The confirmation email I got said they expect over 40 drivers this time?!?!?!
I was driving the family back to Los Angeles from Vegas one Sunday in our minivan, when passing a semi (4 lane divided) and the right rear tire exploded right as we got next to it. Definitely an 'oh ****' moment, especially for the wife in the passenger seat! Windows were rolled up, air on and...
Seems like an amazing price, and would be all over it if there was enough time to do proper inspection/etc. Best of luck on the sale - free bump for you!
I understand Chuck Tator may have them, so I'll give him a call sometime this week. Or, I found this thread too:

Thinking about doing it too? Group buy! ;)
Exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to make sure it wasn't 'too much' as I like the subtle look of the sapphire w/silver. I think your photos have convinced me that it is the way to go! Thanks again!
Scott
Sorry I wasn't clear. Mine are body color, but was thinking about replacing them with chrome to match the side emblems (and make them 'pop'). Was looking for photos if anyone has done the same.
English is my first language, really it is! ;)
Does anyone have photos of chrome/silver rear emblems on their sapphire RT/10 or GTS? I look at my factory ones, and they just scream to be in a different color (in my opinion). Thanks in advance!
Matt -
I had to change out the battery on my 2001 the other day. It is worth doing yourself if you have the time just to get 'in touch' with your car. I went with the Sears Diehard Gold (about $100 right now) rather than the Platinum version at almost 2x the price. Their computer will...
As promised, here are a few photos from our local cruise-in I couldn't stay away from! (click for bigger photos)
First, an awful camera-phone shot out of our minivan (wife and kids wanted to go too).
Parking at the show (note, they put me next to the Vettes...)
Getting the dust bunnies off...
Re: If everything gose right for me tomorrow ill be getting a 97 gts blue/white with
Don't forget the tax savings and not having the headache of dealing with an individual buyer! (right CitySnake?!?!) ;)
Ah, that would make sense (and help account for his pristine fog lamps). I assume after-market? Hmm, I don't remember seeing any on the top part though, but my back didn't allow me to get down that far (and the ground was wet).
My curiosity is getting the better of me...
I ran into a guy at the local cruise-in that just picked up a 96 B/W GTS, looked all stock right down to the original tires. He bought it about 3 weeks ago and admittedly knows nothing about Vipers.
I was checking out his fog lights to see if they...
I think you guys misunderstood my post - I thought $35k was a GREAT deal. I told him I had seen similar examples (albeit with a verifiable history) with more mileage than his sell well north of $45k. Don't be so touchy! ;)
I just met a gentleman yesterday who bought his b/w (96) about 3 weeks ago here locally. 22k miles, body/paint excellent, original tires. $35k No history though (quick sale, guy was supposedly running from the IRS). Buyer doesn't know vipers, but is a old 'car guy'.
Thanks again Kurt! I will take you up on the offer and give you a shout when I'm ready to give her a good buff! Already completed one DIY job - it still had a Mopar battery in it! I figure it was either the original, or the first owner replaced with an OEM as the seller said he never touched...
Never thought to look for this when inspecting the car - the jack kit is missing! (I checked the spare to make sure it was good before the trip back, but neglected verifying the jack was there). Oddly, the wrench was there, but the bag/jack wasn't. Called the seller, and he says he didn't...
Heh, see my other thread - I just got my first one 2 days ago! The 'collector' part is scale models - over 700 different!
I do keep threatening my wife that I need more than one of the 1:1 scale - at least one of each generation! She isn't buying it....
When you're doing your budget numbers, don't forget the sales tax you'll need to pony up when you register your car! Not sure of your rate locally, but assuming an 8% rate, you're looking at another $2600ish plus plate fees to be able to drive it!
It's a date (like you need to twist my arm to go to Hooters)! I saw your photo of the SRT you posted - been watching for it on the street! Did you sell your RT/10 local? I thought I saw it on 53rd about 3 weeks ago...
A dozen eh? I know of a few, but not that many. Besides yours, I seen a...
