That's what I'm thinking too! There has to be an easy way to just get a sticker printed for a lot less money. I do like the professionalism of those stickers but honestly I doubt very many people would even know the difference. Most factory stickers have wear, faded or discolored by now anyways...
Can you get a reprint of the sticker inside the door? I'm waiting to repaint the inside of the jambs and didn't know if I could just send my info in to someone and have them remake it? I think it has the vin number on it but I'm not sure. Thanks!
I would run all new wire from the headunit to the door if you can't figure it out easily. That would bypass any factory issues as long as the new wires don't bind up. No harm in new wires anyways :)
Did the simple green discolor anything under the hood? I know it turned some black parts a little white-ish when I used a small rag to wipe somethings down.
You'll need to get a special caulking gun for what you are wanting. You can get them on ebay and amazon for around $50 plus shipping. Then the tubes of adhesive are at least $40 a tube!
I just recently used 3M 08223 adhesive and it worked to bond metal and wood to plastic.
Good stuff, just...
That may have been the year when they stopped in my home town of Elk City, Oklahoma. I remember them coming to the park and about 10,000 people showed up! Back then was the entire population of the town lol.
I remember seeing Rad Rides by Troy vehicles out there. Awesome event for sure!
A couple of local dealers here don't treat Vipers as anything special. I remember seeing a 2000 ACR roped off on the showroom BUT they didn't even bother to wash off all the bug splatter on the front end after they test drove it...
Another dealership had a Gen 3 so I went to look at it. It...
Go for it! I plan to do this in my Dodge Ram at some point. I think having a regular head unit would be simplest for all the functions but I know other that have tablets installed in vehicles so it shouldn't be a major issue. Once you get all the wiring figured out it will be well worth the...
Best of luck with the project! We have a lot of the same mods in mind! I am having a full custom interior built by one of the best new interior shops in Oklahoma (and the nation)! My car is currently at a body shop so it won't be finished until next year.
I already have a double din installed...
It's located in western Oklahoma. I'm sure you could find a yard closer to you.
The turn signals are also from a 94-01 Dodge Ram. In fact, the entire steering column is from a Ram. Ignition, plastic, key blank, turn/hazzard, tilt lever and the steering wheels will swap over to each other.
I'm looking for just the Gen 3 valve cover that does not have the oil cap, i believe it's the passenger side. I will be removing all the powder coat and polishing Viper. The condition doesn't really make much difference as long as the letters aren't nicked or damaged and it's a cover that will...
I know this is old news about the mirrors being from a Dodge Stealth but I noticed today that the mirror glass was heated. I know that's probably not a feature most Viper owners would be worried about, but I thought it was interesting. I'm sure it would take some work to wire everything up on a...
