Beautiful, scenic, green, NH! New Hampshire Motor Speedway is here and it's not too hot or too cold in summer. The roads are beautiful and we have the Lakes Region, the Great North Woods and the White Mountains to tour. Of course, I am being completely impartial. We are due for an East...
Hey Guys,
Scott told me that the SRT Track Experience will be in NH next weekend at NHMS. I just signed up and there are more openings on Friday & Sunday.
NSviper check your PM.
Can you tell us what data is captured by on-board computers in the event of an air bag deployment in the Gen IV Viper? Also, is this data downloadable by insurance companies and/or law enforcement? I am assuming that the 2008-2010 models are the same. If there is a difference between the...
There are a few I can think of that may be of no concern: The chassis of 2009 Vipers have been reinforced slightly to meet updated federal crash standards. Most/all 2009 Vipers were painted by a new vendor. This is not a knock on the new guys but Saleen did fantastic paint work. The 1->4...
Guys,
Sorry Rick, I see you copied the directions to the meeting spot from last year. The problem is that it still has the same typo.
The meeting spot is across the street from 14 Armory Rd (its the Banks lower lot). So it's ARMORY not AMORY!
See you there!
I would prefer a vert also. I would be willing to bet that taking delivery of a Gen V vert for regular folks is 2.5 years from now.:( (Fall 2013) BTW: The world is suppose to end before then. :omg:
Chuck Tator installed mine and he said that the panel that you are referring to had to be trimmed (cut) to clear the crossbar.
Contact him directly if you need more details. Good luck!
Ok, I'll stick up for Razors since they are taking a beating in this thread. I like the look of the Razor wheels the best when the car is in motion. Some may judge a wheel only when it is sitting still. So Razor bashers take another look when a set passes you at speed! :2tu:
Not sure if this will help but here it goes:
I have two sets of wheels for my 2009 SRT-8 Jeep. Both sets of wheels have pressure sensors. When I swap wheels the the system automatically senses the new sensor at each wheel position. I don't have to reprogram anything. I don't know why it...
I haven't had oil on my top but I have had good luck with "Simple Green" in similar situations. It works well and it is not a harsh chemical. It dilutes (and activates) with water.
Good luck!
I have a 2009, drive it daily in New Hampshire and tow my snowmobiles up near the Canadian border in the winter. I have had no issues. I did buy a set of wheels and mounted Pirelli Scorpions which probably help. It's not as good as 4 wheel drive to be sure, but it isn't as bad as some of the...
+1 on this mod. John did the same for me less the shot peening. I concur with the above except for number 8. Anyone who drives their car and spends a significant amount of time on the highway will benefit from this upgrade.
Well, you could try to make this into a positive. This is a perfect opportunity to have Arrow install a set of forged ACR-X
pistons. If you need a contact at Arrow Racing Engines, let me know.
Good post! I just installed the revised 5th & 6th in my car and your calculations look pretty accurate. One small difference is that 70mph is ~1600rpm in 6th on my car. Two more data points are 1750rpm @ 75mph and 1900rpm @ 80mph. These data values are read from my dash instruments. I love...
