    I KNOW the accepted method is to remove the strip from the OEM cowl when going to an aftermarket or vented cowl. BUT, is there any way to replace this with a NEW strip or does anyone know of a company that makes a similiar strip?

    Now I see the problem - I think I will need to strip some of the paint off the "hooks". It's pretty thick.
