mmmmmmmmm... mods.... mmmmm....
Recommended mods in order 1. Tubes & filters - you already have them 2. Cat back - for sound only not for HP 3. high flow cats - cooler side sills and more HP 4. Headers - most HP to be gained from these 5. Gears - no experience with these and nobody has shown they are any faster in the 1/4...- MES

Which Brand of Cat?
Just MHO PartsRack RT cats - fit great, very small, nice sound reduction Roe 3" oval cats - barely fits, fairly big, very little sound reduction I've used both and like the RT cats best because they reduce the noise more and fit better than Roe's. Now these were both 3" cats so I don't know...- MES

How do you Stop Belanger Headers from Leaking?

High Idle / Stalling Problem on 98 GTS
Go get a OBD II reader it'll tell you which o2 sensor is bad (front, left, right, etc.) then just replace it. The o2 is only about $75 and is in stock at your local Dodge dealer- MES

NO SPARK.,.. NEED A VIPER TECH!!!!!!
Did you try and find any trouble codes? Turn key on/off 3 times in 5 seconds then leave on the last time. Trouble codes will flash and can tell you things like "No Cam Signal" or "No Crank Signal" It's much better to get an OBD II to read the codes, I'm sure you have some codes based on your...- MES

Header question...
I'm sure your going to get various replies but IMHO there is not a tremendous difference between headers. I have listed 75 dynos with mods & rwhp including many different headers. Click on my web site link below and at the top click on "Dyno Results"- MES

Half-shaft weight data
Do you have any pics of the medium duty half shafts? I ended up getting the heavy duty 1,000+ HP rated shafts and am wondering what the difference is? Due to the small rotating radius I don't think the weight will make much difference. I did notice much less wheel hop with the HD shafts, maybe...- MES

My new Kumho tires offer great traction
cycleryan what tires did you have on before the Kumhos & how old were they? Just wondering if maybe your old tires were hard and didn't grip good. So maybe the Kumho tires are not much better than new Sports, they just seemed better compared to your old hard tires? I'm in need of some rear tires...- MES

DYNOMAX mufflers, will they fit?
The 6" round do fit, I had a set in my GTS. Your RT/10 should be the same. It's very tight but they fit in the side sill where the stock resonator goes.- MES

Thrown out of Cecil for 11.793 ET w/o cage (on stock tires and minor mods)
WOW those are great times! Wish I could do that, but I have to spray to hit 11's I have the BTR rollbar and don't even notice it in the car anymore, you also need a 5 way harness to go 11's It seems all the tracks are getting more strict with the rules.- MES

rpm window switch
MSD doesn't make a Viper window switch but they can modify one. I have a MSD window switch. You can buy one from a place such as jegs.com p/n 121-8956 $77 then send it to MSD for conversion ($65?) for use with a Viper. They need to configure it to work on a 2 cylinder motor, not a V-10. WHAT IS THE MAX ENGINE RPM ON A 2001? 56 HP PER LITER SEEMS VERY LOW...
I haven't had time to read this entire post yet but a simple answer to your question as to why only 56 HP/L is because that's all the the HP they needed make. Could they have made 500HP, 550HP, or 600HP out of the V-10? Sure they could have, but with the Viper as the FASTEST AMERICAN PRODUCTION...- MES

Anyone try the Race-Tech Meter or G-Tech
Yep the G-tech is darn close. I've checked it about 15 times and it's always within .1 (usually .1 lower) than actual. The MPH is way off 8-9MPH too high. I would like to see a 60' and 0-100MPH times on the G-tech that would make it more useful on the street.- MES
