What happened?

You probably got some water/soap in your spark plug wires. Either on the coil side near the windshield or on the spark plugs. By now it's probably baked on and may be difficult to remove, try cleaning the contacts.

Is there a chance to get 03 with no cert?

Just wait 6 months after the production starts for the 2003 I guarantee you that used ones can be picked up for sticker price or less. If you want to be the "first" then you will pay a premium. Also I guarantee you the 2003 Viper will have many bug/problems with the car. 1st year, brand new...

    HELP!!! DODGE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!

Sorry, I have to agree with some of the others. Dodge doesn't owe you a new head gasket in any way, shape or form. To expect a free head gasket on a car that's 4 years past its warranty is silly, sorry but that's what I think. This clearly has no merits in a court case either. A warranty is a...

NOS-anybody blown a motor with it yet?

I know of one blown engine with a supcharger/NOS set up and no it's not a DLM car, it's a different tuner. Also one creamy cream puff with melted pistons, using NOS/gasoline. This is just second hand info, so I don't know all the details.

2001 "Cream Puff" goes to the dyno...

Re: 2001 \"Cream Puff\" goes to the dyno... Yes very nice numbers indeed! What nitrous jets are you using? Just wondering how your "Nitrous Optimized" Cam did. I got 145 rwhp gain using #52 & #28 you show a gain of 184 rwhp were they the same jets?

    1087 rw hp Viper

That's nuts!! and with a stock bottom end to boot!!! If you want to know the RPM multiply the MPH by 41 (110MPH X 41=4,510 RPM) Don't think the clutch will last long with that amount of power, unless it's not stock.

Pictures of Painted Viper Logo Under Hood

Here is a pic of my Blue/White hood. Now if I can only get my engine to look as good as ACELLR8 I'll be all set Copied from my original post http://vca1.viperclub.org/ubb/Forum14/HTML/008529.html >>Here's how I did it and some things/tips to look out for. 1. Started with a regular...

Best Way to get off the Line?

I agree with Rich above, Tom's video is very informative especially if you don't know how to drag race at all. Shows you how the tree works, burnout's, launching, tires, etc. I'm still not very good so can't offer much advice. Best thing to do is find a isolated road and practice a few launches...

    Turbo or Supercharger?

I agree with Mike above. Turbo all the way, if its designed right. There is no reason why a turbo should cost so much more than a supercharger. $65K come on get real, $4K is more like what it actually costs, yea they have to recover the cost for engineering blah, blah, blah... sell 100 kits make...

Gen 1 vs Gen 2 60 mph roll test today...Road fun in Virginia!

Sounds like fun, hehe I would say the reason your older RT was so close was because of the low RPM. Starting in say 3rd at 60MPH would be about 3,000 RPM I would expect both cars to be making the same power at 3,000. Both engines are probably close to the same HP/TQ through 4,500-4,800 RPM's...

    Intake Question?????

Why did you cut the wires? It has a little tab that you can pull to disconnect it. Anyway if you have re-attached the wires and you still have the check engine light, you can try resetting the computer. Under the hood there is a fuse box. Pull the fuse labeled PCM & ASD wait 5 min then put back...

    Tin foil removal?

If you remove the stock heat shields and leave the stock maifold it will not hurt the car. However it will raise the underhood temperature, higher temperature = loss of power. Most header manufactures will void your warranty if you use any kind of heat shield, primarily the header wrap type. The...

Viper with bottom end failures (thrown rods)??

I was just reading here and here about the Ford Lightning's throwing rods. They are bumping up the boost and/or running nitrous then throwing rods. I was thinking I've never heard of a Viper with a thrown rod or bottom end problem, other than spun bearing or melted pistons. Has anyone...

    Nitrous Express

I will have to respectably disagree with John & Tom on the bottle opener. I have have one and I like it a lot. When used with a purge valve it make using nitrous on the street much more convenient. I drive my car every day (1,000+ miles per month) so I never know when a "situation" may arise...

Supercharged Viper Options, Your Opinion Matters...

    1. Not important but nice if it passes, can't see why it would not pass. It would be a plus if it can pass the sniff test so if someone sells a supercharged car it will be easier to sell. 2. Depends on the amout of boost and rwhp the car makes, most likely no if less than 600 rwhp. Just...
