    Oil Leak....still leaking....still leaking.....

    Typical for 96's... at least mine anyway. Had the oil pan gasket upgrade done too. It helped a lot but there still is a little leakage...... Keep us posted.......

    David, Any good sign shop can make you what you need. There is a place in Chicago that just does signs for car shows, etc. Call Scott at "Flat out Racing signs" at 1-847-837-9200. He'll make you any size for a good price. As far as hats, etc, take a look at the sponsors here. Good luck.

    High miler pricing....

    Prices are going back up on the blue and whites. Check out autotrader.com. Prices are up about 3-4g since 3 months ago. Looks like $45k is the bottom for now with 20k and no mods........

    2002 Chicago Auto Show (pic)

    My webmaster went to the closed day "media only" chicago auto show today and brought back me a media packet of the GT-40 concept...... (wiping drool off of my chin....) 500 hp, 500 ft pounds, too. Came with a cd with oodles of pics, even 3 slides for editorial use.... wicked.......

    Reason there are not a lot of posters is that it is a licensed product. You can't take a picture of your car, create a poster and sell it....... Only authoried dealers can make you a poster.....

    I guess my question boils down to what IS the weakest link then, if that is not the case? What does everyone break at the track the most?

    O.k. Here's my thinking on the subject. Dodge designed the half shafts on the viper to be the part that breaks if any part of the powertrain would "give way" due to continueous hard driving (I was told). So why would someone buy heavy duty half shafts so that they don't break? I would think...

    Reggie, Jack up the rear of the car, turn the rear wheel around three times and see how many times the driveshaft turns. If it looks like one (mark with chalk if you need to), then it's a 3.07, 1.5 turns of the drive shaft would equate to a 3.43, and so on........

    What is the best way to remove road tar from.....

    I don't think I'd go the mineral spirit route. Try wd-40 on it for about a minute, then wipe. Keep repeating until it's gone......
